• Introduction to Statistics and Probability
• Descriptive statistics
• Random variables, distributions, and expectation
• Some probability distributions
• Point estimation of parameters and sampling distribution
• Statistical intervals of a single sample
• Tests of hypotheses of a single sample
• Tests of hypotheses of two samples
• Linear regression
• Design and analysis of experiments |

課程目標 |
This course will teach students to become familiar with the concepts of random variables and underlying probability distributions, and how to obtain valid experimental data, select appropriate analysis methods, and correct and reliable conclusions. When combined with statistical analysis, surveys and experimental studies can uncover hidden, well-founded, and valuable conclusions. This course is an essential introductory subject for investigation and research.
